a nice mrt station with a nice variety of places to eat, including malay, chinese and japanese food that are all very cheap and affordable! there is even a 7-eleven and supermarket for you to buy your last-minute needs. it is conveniently located near four bus stops. we would definitely recommend stopping by this mrt!
The station is more crowded than six or seven years ago due to the new condominiums and associated businesses, built in it's close vicinity. The first time to enjoy a cup of tea and an egg prata at Teh Tarik Express, located under the condo. A variety of Malay food are available there for your taste

Another poorly planned station location like tiong bahru station, which is used by commuters traveling to the otherwise more centralized bukit merah central area, leading to frequent traffic congestions

very nostalgic mrt station along the ewl, location is very central and convenient as it is near cbd. there are many shops at the mrt station 1st floor such as a 7-11, malay food store, liho and mr bean etc. toilets r very small and hygiene is 3/10, most of the places arnd this area quite dirty tho because it is an old neighbourhood. not many shopping malls arnd this area (in comparison to other neighbourhoods?), nearest mall is tiong bahru plaza 1 stop away, if ur gg queenstown side the nearest mall is star vista 3 stops away.
There are entries near it and ATM.... so it is a convenient stop for all.
Nice little station on Singapore's East-West Green Line. Station is conveniently located near SG Enable's Enabling Village, which assists persons with disabilities access to education, employment, and skills development.
